The Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy yet able to communicate complex subjects in easy-to-understand terms to help users across the company. The candidate will also be responsible for the initial and ongoing training of the system and provide regular “refresher” training to ensure users are using the system properly. Additionally, the Administrator will perform basic updates, keep current on new releases and AppExhange solutions.
The Job:
  • Create and manage users, profiles, roles, and permission sets in Salesforce
  • Perform system implementation, configuration, and tuning
  • Manage Salesforce objects and processes for the organization
  • Work closely with department leads to ensure all configuration, changes, and process are aligned with business and marketing goals
  • Attend planning meetings and assist with determining how to fully leverage Salesforce capabilities to meet company goals
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Maintain and own data and system security and integrity in Salesforce
  • Troubleshoot escalated issues with Salesforce
  • Train and assist users on a regular basis on system features and updates
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team within Salesforce and Pardot to ensure data is clean and required fields are complete to support marketing initiatives
  • Monitor neglected Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, and Contacts as appropriate
Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Salesforce.com Administrator Certification
  • Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool
  • In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC and have successfully expanded on those capabilities through the use of custom code (Apex, s-controls) and/or integration with external systems
  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce.com reporting functionality
  • Previous re-engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team with a positive “Can-do” attitude
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data and software applications
  • Experience in Pardot a plus
